Hi! my name is Isabelle MacNeaney and I am a 2D Rigger, 2D animator and experimental animator.

 

Last year, I completed my first short film, 'Madra Dáná' about my dog, Jasmin. In this film I really wanted to focus on world creation and keeping it light while still conveying the humorous side of her life. For my film I learned more about design, rigging, direction and animation throughout the process. I also gained experience in Toonboom and Photoshop, and can't wait to learn even more!

I was very proud when ‘Madra Dana’ was recently chosen to appear in Dingle Animation Festival, Kerry, Lift Off Festival – First Time Film Makers, London, Heron Bay Film Festival, Canada, and Won Best Animated Film in London Animation Film Festival earlier this year.

Now that I have completed my college education and my short film, my next endeavor was joining Boulder Media Studios in Dublin as a Rigging Artist for a 4 month contract, followed by a 7 month freelance contract. During my time in Boulder I received full training in ToonBoom Harmony rigging. I built character and prop rigs completely from scratch and even landed my first 3 show credits during my time there. I worked on Krapopolis S4 and S5 and a Hanna Barbera show, 'Living the Dream' and am incredibly privileged and honored to have worked in such an amazing studio for the better part of a year.

Now, I have just relocated to London and I can't wait to see where my career takes me next!
